Super fast gas upstack caulking
After a recent heavy rain, I noticed water dripping from the gas upstack piping in our garage ceiling. Batterbee reroofed our house 5 years ago, so not knowing cause of the leak I called Batterbee, whom immediately put one of their supervisors, Manny, on the phone to discuss the issue. After I explained the leak to him he surmised the A/C & heating maintenance folks I have, had not refreshed the halo caulking on the gas uptake stack after Batterbee reroofed the house. And although it was not their responsibility, Manny said Batterbee would send someone over the next day to fix the leak. As promised, Matt Woods, field supervisor showed up to fix the situation the next day. Matt pointed out to me, from his position on the roof, where the halo on the upstack should have been caulked, which he quickly remedied. I was impressed with the professionalism and thoroughness Batterbee demonstrated when they replaced our roof 5 years ago, and how quickly they jumped into action to fix our leak although most other companies would have argued it wasn’t their problem.
