Check about a roof leak
We had a new roof installed by Batterbee in July, 2018. Recently we noticed an indication that we had a leak by a discoloration of the ceiling in the entry foyer. Looking at the roof outside we noticed an appliance vent that was located approximately where the discolored ceiling was located. We assumed the vent wasn't properly sealed and We called Batterbee and they dispatched one of their managers, a young man named Manny who came to check things out. Manny was extremely professional and courteous and got up on the roof and checked the vent out. He then came inside and went into the attic area to inspect further. When done, he emphatically assured us there was no evidence of a roof leak. He did however suggest we contact our A/C contractor because he noticed a Air Conditioning Duct Box that was located in the attic very near where the ceiling discoloration was. We thanked him for his effort in trying to determine the problem and accepted his conclusion that our problem was not caused by any fault in the roof his company installed.
